What started as a craving for more celebration of Asian and Pacific Island cuisines has grown into Chow Fun—a vibrant, week-long event dedicated to food, culture, and community.

We spotlight the mom-and-pop eateries that give our neighborhoods heart and flavor—family-owned gems often overlooked but rich in heritage and taste. The 15-day culinary celebrtion spans across the Excelsior, Ocean Ave, Geneva Ave, Visitacion Valley neighborhoods. This year, we’re expanding to the Portola, the Garden District, with 71 participating merchants.
